Praia da Barra
Where the Pojuca River meets the sea, on the border between Camaçari and Mata de São João. You alternate between sea and river bathing, and the river mouth forms natural pools perfect for a swim.
Itacimirim is a district of Camaçari, on the Costa dos Coqueiros, just north of Guarajuba. More secluded and bucolic, the beach is marked by the meeting of the Pojuca River and the sea and by an unhurried pace of life — the right destination for those seeking contact with nature and quiet.
